THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN 1960 - Winter Garden Theater My contribution to The Unsinkable Brown is one I'm particularly proud of and resulted in one of my favorite experiences. I had worked with choreographer Peter Genarro as a performer in "Bells Are Ringing" and welcomed the opportunity to work with him again when he called saying he wanted me in the show.
The cast had a family-like atmosphere headed by it's godfather director
Dore Shary. Both Peter and Mr. Shary gave me much to do in the show, which was a welcomed
relief after understudying a cow for two years (see Gypsy). |
